Not sure if this will do it, but you can try adjusting the "columns" and "rows" parameters found while editing your textarea editor field within CB > Field Management. An editor doesn't have to respect the size sent to it though so it may or may not do anything as the buttons on the editors toolbar often force it to enlarge.

Sorry to say that it didnt work. Another issue I have is removing tha options of article, page breake and read more that is posted below the toggle editor. Maybe changing to a different editor will help me.
You'll need to adjust the sizing within your editor then. It's likely the toolbar with the various buttons is pushing its width. Normally columns and rows works, but if the editor pushes width due to buttons it won't really matter. An editor like JCE offers a larger amount of customization.
Another issue I have is removing tha options of article, page breake and read more that is posted below the toggle editor.
Those are editor buttons that you can enable/disable within Extensions > Plug-in Manager.
