hi,
i just installed 2.5 CB Search plugin, enabled in joomla plugin manager, my understanding is that now i should create a menue item and module and assign position to make it appear on the site.
But i have very vague idea how to work with it. do you have any tutorial?

All it does is allow the Joomla search module to search CB users. Note it does not work with Smart Search. So you need to create a Joomla search module or Joomla menu link to search page and begin searching for users there. Note the fields selected for searching must be set searchable, be accessible to the user searching, and set to display on profile.
