login compact horizontal mode was created by N6REJ
How can I change the cb login so its all in a small compact horziontal line?
j3.alterego-of-pwi.info you can see the login in the top right.
seem's when I add "pull-right" it reverses the username/pw also. and truncates the rest of the form *sigh*
if anyone can help style this I'd appreciate it.

Edit your login module within Extensions > Module Manager and set "Module orientation" to "Horizontal". You may also want to set it compact as well by setting "Display type" to "Compact". Beyond that we can't help you style your sites template, sorry; you should contact the developer of your template for help on styling it to your needs.

I'm not sure its the template ( protostar ) and I've done all the above. I've even tried module style "horz", "html5", "rounded" etc... I've moved location, and even tried another template.
could it possibly be bootstrap?

*addendum*
Looking @ the module it appears its not MVC as there is no .css, no "view", everything is hard coded into the mod_cblogin.php file making it very difficult to check for possible problem.
Is there a demo somewhere that shows the expected "look" ?

What you're seeing is the expected look. It surrounded the elements with spans instead of divs so they fall inline one after another. It doesn't really do anything other than that.

Most of our stuff isn't Joomla MVC, which wasn't introduced until later. CB has been around for a very long time. CB 2.0 will be better structured.

yeah,i've been a cb user since Joomla day one almost. I expected the cb mod to look like I have sclogin currently styled on site, but when I use cb-mod it puts remember me and the login/register button below the user/pw. The other question is, is it responsive when using the bootstrap templates. ( mod i mean )

Probably a CSS conflict (normally due to label element display being forced to block). I don't see a normal CB module on your site so I can't really advise any further in that regard, sorry.

The module doesn't need to be responsive. It's a module and is already small for mobile display. CB Profile is responsive if you're using CB Boostrap. Most of my incubator projects are also completely responsive as they're designed with Bootstrap styling.
