$_cb_framework and php session variables

$_cb_framework and php session variables was created by amaster130
I am trying to use the following code to store php session variable.

It seems not to work because the $_cb_framework is causing conflict

How can I store this as a php post variable . I am trying to display this variable elsewhere hence need it stored and accessible.

<?php
global $_CB_framework;
$cbUser = &CBuser::getInstance( $_CB_framework->displayedUser() );
$country = $cbUser->getField( 'cb_country' );

$db->setQuery("SELECT * FROM #__countrycharges WHERE CountryName ='" . $country ."';");
$options = $db->loadObjectList();
$CurrencyCode= $options[0]->CurrencyCode;
$_Post = $country;
$_session = $CurrencyCode;
Echo var_dump();
?>

You'll lose PHP sessions with Joomla. Joomla resets PHP session data with each page load so it's useless inside of Joomla. You need to use Joomla API to push information to Joomla PHP session or use CBs session API to push to CBs session database table storage. See the below for Joomla session usage information.

docs.joomla.org/JFactory/getSession

To use Joomla sessions in an external script you can see the below tutorial on how to do this.

docs.joomla.org/How_to_access_session_variables_set_by_an_external_script
