If you don't select a user (click their checkbox) it sends to every user found. If you used Advanced Search, don't select a checkbox, then use it it will send to every user found after your filtering. In short you can filter the users and mass mail to just those you've filtered or you can select specifically which users you want to mass mail, etc.. lots of options available.I know the CB mass mailer, but am I wrong, or does it only support to send a mail to all users, but not providing any kind of selection to a group of users?

Only Administrators and Super Administrators by default can access backend. I don't think a user can user mass mailer without also having edit access, but you can try going to CB > Configuration > Options and adjust the permissions for "Access Administration Interface" to "Allow" then "Edit" to "Denied".Last question about this topic: Because this is all in the backend, is there a way to give a certain user group (like managers) only the right to send out massmails, but not to alter users? Obviously they will see all users and fields (that is not a problem).
