It tells the login module to load CB plugins and fire the login module triggers. It entirely depends on what you're using. CB Connect uses it and CB AntiSpam will also use it for login module captcha. You could also utilize the triggers with CB Auto Actions. So it's just based off your needs.Just to confirm what this "CB Plugins Integration" setting does in the CB Login Module, is the answer basically leave it off unless CB Connect is active/published and want the CB Login "integrated" with CB Connect?
It's not going to hurt anything to leave it on. I can't recall every trigger every plugin we provide utilizes; so off the top of my head I know CB Connect, CB Captcha, and CB AntiSpam can utilize those triggers. It doesn't particularly matter though as it's not going to hurt anything to leave it on.I'm not using CB Connect at all on my current site, but I wonder what the effect is if I leave it on in case I do try CB Connect in the future, or in reverse, what effect it will have on CB Connect if it's not on? You imply it's some sort of trigger, so I guess by it being on it would trigger CB Connect to do its stuff (if CB Coonect is present and on. However you also seem unsure if CB Connect is the only thing that uses this setting. Might there be other things?
No.On a slightly related point, is this anything to do with the various "Content Plugins" enable/disable setting I see around?
In GJ it allows Joomla content plugins to act on GJ content. Check Extensions > Plug-in Manager for what content plugins you've installed. Can you explain the effect of this setting which I think is mainly in GJ. I think it's something to do with any Joomla plugin in that is named with "Content - xxx" but quite what the effects of having this setting on or off in CB/GJ beats me?

Okay, it's just that earlier in this thread (last week) you could only recall CB Connect, so I didn't want to turn it off if it may be needed elsewhere (undocumented). I guess it's best to leave on but the warning when hovering over that option implies it's resource intensive so hence the need to ask. Still unclear but I guess I'll leave it on.krileon wrote: ...I can't recall every trigger every plugin we provide utilizes; so off the top of my head I know CB Connect, CB Captcha, and CB AntiSpam can utilize those triggers. Ahhh!... I've never fully appreciated the different types of Joomla plugins, which of course I can filter by "Content". - i.e. there is a specific "Content" type which shows just the plugins that act on the, err, 'content'. So with this setting in GJ we can fine tune, on or off, the effect of these J Plugins per GJ configuration item. Can you explain the effect of the [unrelated] "Content Plugins" setting which I think is mainly in GJ config.
