Column width of bootstrap template always 31% ?

I have three column template and configured it correctly in cb backend.

with bootstrap i get always width: 31.6239%; for each column.

Yes, it always uses CSS width. Bootstrap template does not use those parameters. The width is specifically calculated for cross browser support and responsive design. All of which is foregone if I designed it to use that parameter. To change the width you need to edit the CSS to use the different fluid span sizes as shown in the below layout.
