No, you can navigate to GJ > Users and add users to groups using their user id. You can supply a comma separated list of user ids to force multiple users to join a group at once.OK so when you say force them to join the group from the backend, are you meaning via the 'Auto' action feature in group jive?
You can set the new event notification as default notify and users that joined the group will receive a notification that a new event was created. They can manually cancel to be notified on the Notification page as well if they won't want to receive the notification anymore. You can find the default for this notification within GJ > Config > Integrations > Events > Notifications > Defaults."When a new event is created, invite all registered users who get to choose "attending, maybe attending, not attending"?
Is this possible?
You are not inviting users to events. You are inviting users to join the Group. GroupJive provides community groups. It is not an event manager or anything of the sort. Events are just a small part of what it does.I'd be gobsmacked if not as surely the events in the groups are what people get invited to and this when they reply to this invite, they mark their attendance as yes, maybe and no in effect?
