But what is the value if I want to show only on public mode and no on registered mode ?

I don't understand your question. What do you mean public mode? There is no access modes for conditionals.

You want online status to only be visible to Public users and not to Registered users? You'd need to utilize Joomlas "Guest" view access level usage then move it to a tab that is only accessible to "Guest" view access level. Please see the below on how to use Joomlas "Guest" view access level.
