Hi,

When a user signs into our site using Facebook via the CB Connect plugin they get a message '<app name> would like to post publicly on your behalf'. Is there a way to stop this appearing? I have searched around but any solutions I have found talk about amending the API code. Would you know if there is a way to disable this in the config such as not using OAuth etc?

You can't. You can customize it a little bit within your Facebook Application > App Details, but you can't remove permission messages. This is a Facebook limitation; no editing of CB Connect will get rid of that.
