I'm following the instructions at: www.joomlapolis.com/support/tutorials/107-use-cases/18237-assigning-usergroup-based-on-cb-field-value

The only difference between this example and what I'm doing is that the conditional I'm using is based on a field I've created [cb_lake] rather than one of the standard CB fields.

Should it be able to work with a condition based on any cb field? What else can be going wrong here? I've used this auto action on another site successfully so I know I've seen it work.

Thanks

Erich

Install the latest release, turn on debug mode for your auto action (new parameter found in each action at the bottom under Exclude), enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration, then test again and it should do a var_dump if your conditional check failed as well as provide you the values it tried to match.
