[SOLVED] CB Invite Code help

I am trying to incorporate the CB Invite code feature into my registration. I have already generated the "code" in the invite text. I am using this to allow members to invite friends for guest access to our site. Here are my questions.

1: I found a CB Field called "invite_code" in the Contact Info. If I mark it as required, past members who do not have it completed get a notice that their profile in incomplete. I would like it to be only necessary for the guest users, and not the current subscribers. Is this possible?

2: Even with it marked as Required and Show at Registration, the registration form for a guest account does not show it (and hence not require it).

3: Does this invite code field get automatically created with the installation of the CB Invite Plugin? Have I possibly made the "invite_code" field manually and that's why its not integrating properly? I am unfortunately unsure if my tinkering with trying to make it work has made it not work.

As you can see, just a little confused with the functionality of the invite code. The purpose of it fits my needs perfectly as I would like to limit the guest registration only to those that have received an invitation. Is there a help topic on its activation/usage?

The guest invite feature goes live in 2 days... any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can set the field as Read Only or use CB Privacy to disable its profile edit to display entirely.

Ensure the field is enabled and it's on a published and public tab.

Invite codes are generated internally and sent with the invite email. When someone clicks the invite URL in the invite email it'll send them to the registration page and pre-fill the invite code field with the code attached to the invite.

As you can see, just a little confused with the functionality of the invite code. The purpose of it fits my needs perfectly as I would like to limit the guest registration only to those that have received an invitation.
