[SOLVED] CB Subs Userlist in Frontend was created by herzenssache
Hi,

thank you for the great component. We do use CBSubs and it is working fine. Couple of questions:

1.) is it possible to create a userlist for the frontend to show members of a specific plan? I did not find a menue item or a module or anything about it in the documentation.

2.) I read in the forum several times that autorecurring is not possible on offline payments. In the german speaking countries offline payment is pretty standard for associations and club memberships, paypal sometimes used, credit card rarely. In my case users become member in a club. The membership does not expire. There is no need for renewing. Is there truly no way of having a offline payment auto recurring feature? Is it truly difficult to implement? It would be great if the component just sends out the bill once a year and leave the membership intact.

3.) For offline payment, does the payment have to be recorded in the backend? Or - where is the payment for offline payment recorded?

THank you,
Matt

Yes, but you'll need to use CBSubs Fields to update a field with a value that's unique per plan. This will allow you to filter the userlist based off plan.

Auto recurring of offline payments is impossible. It requires an admin to manually pay the basket after payment is received. You could just make the plan lifetime then unsubscribe them manually if they stop paying though.

3.) For offline payment, does the payment have to be recorded in the backend? Or - where is the payment for offline payment recorded?

Yes, when someone starts an offline payment you need to pay the basket from backend when you receive the payment. You can add extra details with the payment such as check number, etc.. at that time. You pay them within CBSubs > Baskets. Please see your CBSubs documentation for further information on the offline workflows.

Thank you for your response on all items Kyle. Only one question remaining: we did implement the lifetime plan now. This will work for us. I noticed that members that subcribe new have "lifetime" in their status. The "old" ones still have an expiry date and can renew to lifetime. Is there a way/a trick that I auto change them over to lifetime without having to renew it manually and mails going out to them with new invoices?

Thank you,
Matthias

Did you edit your existing plan and change it to free lifetime? If so then you can edit their subscription within CBSubs > Subscriptions by clicking the id under the ID column to the far right. Then blank out the expiration date inputs and save. If it's a new plan entirely then you'll need to subscribe them to it, which you can do from backend by editing them in CB > User Management.
