I have a Joomla 2.5.11 installation, running CB 1.9.
I've just discovered I no longer have access to the configuration part of community builder. I can see all items from 'users' to 'tools' without problem, but the link to configuration gives me a 404 error. It has been working fine recently, last checked a couple of days ago.
The URL it's addressing is administrator/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=showconfig&view=showconfig
I've tried reinstalling comprofiler, and tried it with SEF off, neither of which worked.
Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then attempt to access it again and see if there is any further information about the error displayed. If not check your server error logs to see if any further information is there.

Joomla issue. Something is trying to load a category you can't access or does not exist. Try disabling SEO in Joomla global configuration and see if it goes away. If not try disabling 3rd party System and Content plugins within Joomla > Extensions > Plug-in Manager.
There's a ton of posts about the issue as it seams to pop up randomly for basically any extension.
