drop down field to generate values based on multicheckbox checked values

11 years 3 months ago #230749 by ninokorinteli
Hi There,

Is that possible drop down field to generate values based on multichekbox checked values?

example:

first in multy checkbox field say - 1, 3, 5, 10 values are selected by user and after this next drop down field loads containing only those previously checked values (1,3,5,10)

my understanding is that it might be possible with substitutions, but i don't know how, need help:)
Thanks in advance

Nino

Not dynamically no, but if there was a page reload in-between the selection of the checkbox and display of the select field then you could use the new fieldtypes provided by CB Query Field to query the database for the values of a select field. Aside from that no it's not doable without new development.

No, I have no plans to develop it at all. You would need to develop it or hire someone to do so.
