I have GroupJive installed and when I go to accept requests for people to join a group the little popup window for the menu button shows under the module in the left position.
Already fixed for next release. Currently the dropdowns are CSS powered. This means "overflow: hidden" on their parent containers will cause them to be cut off like what you're seeing. The only fix for now is to edit the CSS on the container that contains your modules in that position and ensure it's not hiding overflow.

I couldn't find in the CSS where I could edit this so it wasn't hidden by the other module position.
You have to work your way up the DOM. It's usually #main or something to that affect.
