Hello, I have a problem with Community Builder 1.9 and the french accent (See my screenshhot). It's curious because this bug is only with profile view and all accent of this page are broken... my database is in : UTF-8-GENERAL-CI and Joomla 2.5.11 on php 5.3.25. So if change encoding of document french.php in ANSI then just text of traduction is good (in default configuration is : UTF8- NO BOM)
Can you help me please ?
P.S : I'm french and i don't speak english very well so please excuse me for this "style"

UTF8 looks to be working fine. Database won't matter in this situation as it's language strings that aren't displaying right. It appears your language file is not encoded properly. Also the usage isn't correct either as "french.php" won't even load or at least it shouldn't as it should be fr-FR.
I suggest downloading the French language plugin found below then making changes as needed.

Do you have these UTF8 translation issues anywhere else or is it strictly CB that is having this issue? The only other reason I can think of for this to happen is if PHP isn't setup correctly for UTF8.
