How do I place a CB user field in a module or article?

In the same way you would write a "welcome {username}" I am looking to place a number in an module (e.g. in a Custom HTML module), how much a user has in their account per se, it is a community builder field created, each user will have a different amount. Or is there an easy way in community builder already to do this?

How do I place a CB user field in a module or article?

Thanks.

Using Joomla 3.1.4
Community Builder Pro 1.9 (and all plugins are installed)

Yes to both. For modules you need to use our CB Content Module, which allows you to supply it substitutions. For articles you need to use our CB Content Bot, which allows substitutions within Joomla articles. Please see the below tutorial regarding substitution usage information.

www.joomlapolis.com/support/tutorials/107-use-cases/18353-using-substitutions-throughout-cb

For example you could create a CB Content Module with the following.

Welcome [username]!
