Hi, probably configuration error but I cannot find the culprit.
The default tax rule is recognised on registrations etc but it not recognised on subsequent renewals. The plan has a different first year price to subsequent subscriptions.
Happy to provide screen shots of config pages you specify or to provide backend access login.
For renewals do you mean recurring subscription renewals or single payment renewals? What gateway are you using? Is it showing the incorrect values directly on the basket page if using single payments?

Single payment renewals. Have three payment gateways: EWay and two offline. And it was not showing the tax line on the page prior to choosing the payment method.
But here is the thing - it is showing the tax line properly on a further test today. I do not know what is different between my test yesterday (and for the tester who reported the issue a few days earlier) and today but I guess I need to put this on hold until I find a repeatable issue! Sorry for that.
If I find out anything more that is relevant I will come back and update this message.
