The subscription started on 12/12/2012. I'll try to keep a log of who this is happening to.

Is your plan a by calendar year duration plan? There's a known issue of it not working quite right and causes the renewal to happen for past dates. Basically causing it to not renew at all. This only happens in certain situations though.

Strange, I can't think of any further reason why this would happen then. Especially given that it doesn't happen to everyone. My best guess is the information stored at Authorize.net regarding their recurring payments maybe incorrect (missing user id perhaps?). I've no experience with Authorize.net, but is there a way for you to review recurring profiles stored there? If so try comparing the recurring profile of the user having issues with a more recent one to see if there's any differences.

another came in today. subscription date is 2010. her payment went through authorize.net fine and was receivd by our site. however, the system applied the payment to ID = 0 "System" instead of her name and ID.

At one point in the past we killed off all ARBs in authorize.net because we had to go to a quarterly payment system. So, everyone had to sign up for a new ARB when it came time to renew. I don't think that should have made this happen though.

If you have no ideas we'll have to try another system. All of our users are getting tired of this. thanks for the help thus far though.

ThePiston wrote: Ok, I found 4 logs for that exact time. When I click on the one that says "User subscription activated as Renewed autorecurring with notifications" it has this incorrect information:

Username: System
ID: 0

So it looks like it's activating the wrong profile. The other info in the table on that page is correct though such as the expiration, status, etc.

Username is the logged in user when that action happened. In that case, as it's probably from an IPN (silent post) (?) it's "System".

Check also the notifications. You should see "IPN" types from auth.net there.
