User List pagination issue in IE8

Hi guys

I have a weird glitch with the user list pagination only in IE8 in that I believe the hidden div cbUserListsSearcher may some how be overlapping the top of the page navigation numbers as when I click them first time they shift down slightly but click not recognised.... and work on second click.

Or if when page loads I click anywhere on the page the pagination shifts down slightly and then I can click to change pages.

A clue might be that if I click the "Search Users" link to reveal the search criteria div then the pagination works fine.

I've tried switched from our Joomlart Edenite template to a default Atomic template and still an issue in IE8.

Actually if one first page loads I click any pagination number link right at the very bottom of the link it works first time.... so this tells me in IE8 the link area that is active for these numbers is only at the very bottom of the actual text?

Anyone seen this issue before or have any ideas form these clues :)

EDIT: If I use a user list that default to search mode so the search criteria form is showing and not hidden then the pagination works fine even after paging through multiple pages of results so only an issue when the search form is hidden.

My hunch is when its hidden its somehow causing an issue with the layout of the page in IE8

Many thanks
Jonathan

I've managed to get around this by adding some top padding to each page number

.cbUserListPagination a {padding-top:5px}

This now means when i click on any part of the number link it actually works....

Weirdly the middle column content still dumps down about 10px when I first click any part of the page or a pagination number so is defo linked to the search form being hidden.

Weird :)

Am not able to confirm your issue in IE7, IE8, IE9, or IE10 using default Protostar template. My guess is perhaps you've an element on the page that's overflowing or something of the sort causing an overlay. We don't really support IE8 anymore though. IE9 is an auto update on WinXP and IE10 is an auto update on Vista/Win7/Win8 so there's really no reason for anyone to be using IE8.
