Hello,

I have csubs installed.

I have 4 memberships

1. Free lifetime
is not exclusive and everyone should have it to access the site, but it does not appear to work. If people upgrade the plan then this plan is deactivated, so when their membership expires they cannot do anything. They try to login and you set it to need a subscription, they are redirected to a sign up page, not an upgrade or renew any subscription? I have set Csubs to allow non subscription users but they get the above error message even though the Joomla! Global config permissions are set to Allow on site login.

Other memberships are exclusive and allow upgrades to the higher priced ones. However, I can't set a way to set a fall back subscription when expired as that would help solve it too.

As a temporary measure I want to apply the free subscription to all users with no active plan? but cannot see an easy way to do this?

Suggestions please???

Hello,

This is a Joomla! 2.5.14 issue. I have been doing some debugging and narrowed it down to the Assets table.

Basically the parent ID should always be 1 except on the root i.e. first row which is should be 0.

It looks like the latest Joomla! update had a strict implementation, causing a rather big issue for upgraded sites like mine from Joomla! 1.5.

Be warned!

Free lifetime plans do not give access by default as they do not create a subscription. Navigate to CBSubs > Settings > Global and ensure free lifetime plans create subscriptions. Once done re-subscribe to your free lifetime plan and should work fine.

Other memberships are exclusive and allow upgrades to the higher priced ones. However, I can't set a way to set a fall back subscription when expired as that would help solve it too.

There is no fallback feature. They'll always revert to their previous plan that they upgraded from assuming their previous is still active and hasn't expired.

As a temporary measure I want to apply the free subscription to all users with no active plan? but cannot see an easy way to do this?

You can use CBSubs > Import to mass import subscriptions to all your users.

For those with a similar issue please see the below topic. It's normally only caused by migration, but apparently can happen somehow by other means.
