I am working on a site using CB, and I want front end users to be able to click on a button that will allow them to add new information to their profile.

For example, if the profile has a section for displaying work history, these fields are all associated with one job:
  • Job title
  • Job description
  • Employer name
  • Start date
  • End date

I want to have an "Add new Job" button on the front end profile, and when that button is clicked on a new set of those 5 empty fields would display so the user can input their data. After the new data is saved, they would have the option to add the same information for another new job.

Does CB (or any CB plugins or 3PD extensions) support this type of feature?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best regards,

Paul Orwig

There is no such feature nor is there any 3rd party plugin that can provide this that I am aware of. Best I can suggest is to create multiple groups of those fields in CB > Field Management then have a dropdown for them to select up to the maximum number of field groups you created (say 1 to 5) then use CB Conditional to show/hide the various groups of fields as needed. This is planned for CB 2.0 though.
