Create Drop-Downs with Attributes, Selections Place User in Group

Hi CB,

During my registration process I need to allow my users to select their status:

Initially they would have 3 Options:
Working Professionals
Graduate Level
Undergrad

Based on their selection they would then receive another level of options:
Working Professionals
- Option 1
- Option 2
- Option 3
Graduate Level
- Option 1
- Option 2
- Option 3
Undergrad
- Option 1
- Option 2

I'm not sure how I would program this in my CB form?

Secondly - once the user selects the options above it automatically assigns/places them in one of the 8 lists (from the options above).

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

This can be done using CB Conditional. You would for example "Working Professionals" would show if you selected "Working Professionals" from your "Status" field. You can find a CB Conditional tutorial below to get you started.

Are your lists CB Userlists? If is the case then you just need to edit your Userlist within CB > List Management and add Filters for your fields so the Userlist only displays a specific set of users.

If you mean to place them in a Joomla usergroup this can be done using CB Auto Actions, which we've a tutorial for that you can find below.
