Hi,

Is there a way to add a tab with an article submission form for registered users that post to news feeds based on the category they belong to?

Thanks

Closet you can get to this is probably CB Blogs as it stores blog entries directly into Joomlas content manager.

Sweet, I can make that work for my needs.

Is there any documentation on configuring this plugin? I have gone through all the settings and there are some things I don't understand about the configuration. Such as only showing 5 Blog categories to choose from and customizing the submission form when creating a blog.

Thanks for any help

Nope, but you configure it as follows.

1. Navigate to Joomla Content Manager.
2. Create a top level category (parent of no other categories) to hold all your blog categories (e.g. Blogs)
3. Create sub-categories of your new top level category (e.g. General, Movies, Games, etc..)
4. Navigate to CB > Plugin Management > CB Blogs > Config > Blogs > CMS then set "Section" to your new top level category.

You should now be able to create blogs in your sub categories on frontend from your Blog tab. You can have as many sub categories as you want as well.
