[SOLVED] Login Conflict was created by paurray
Hello Support

CB/Joomla Login

I have a CB Login working in a drop down menu. Under the menu point Login.

This works fine.

There is some kind of workflow going on here to get this to work which I do not quite understand. The template people implimented it for me.

As far as I can make the Login Page is set up for CB login but the it is loading the Joomla Login.

The CB Login is activated in the Module manager.

BUT there is no positon set! This is done on purpose so that the CB login can go in the drop down menu. But I suspect that it is screwing with the CB Login Page.

i.e.

finalbug.net/loginhere

Any ideas?

thanks

Paul

Both the login module and the login page look like CBs. I don't understand what the issue is? When the CB login module does its POST it just does its POST to CBs login page, which processes the login. It should only go to CBs login page when using the login module if you input invalid credentials though unless your menu item is a link to CBs login page, which for the dropdown it probably should just be a space menu item or something.

Hi Kyle

Maybe I am paranoid but what bothered me was that when for example I played with the options for “Display login/logout button as” in the CB Login module the changes only affected the drop down login and not the page login. This made me suspicious and that is why I asked! Just wanted to double check!

The CB Login page uses the first CB Login module it can find for its parameters. So it should style the same as your login module unless you have more than 1.

This is my Login Situation

I also double checked in the Module Manager by filtering for CB Login & Login.

One of each and the Joomla Login is deactivated!

Check trash and see if one is deleted, but still exists.
