Using substitutes was created by teesa
Hi all

I tried to use the field substitution as described in the tutorials - with no success.
A "Herzlich Willkommen #[name]#" will be substituted to "Herzlich Willkommen ##"
BUT: a "Herzlich Willkommen #{cb:[name]}#" will be substtitited correctly.

As I don't think that your tutorials are all incorrect I have to assume that the bug is on my side..
Can you tell me, what's going wrong?

Thanks in advance
Dieter

Format looks fine but {cb:[FIELD_NAME]} does nothing in Joomla articles (assume that's where you're trying to use it) without our CB Content Bot installed, published, and public. You can download the CB Content Bot from the professional downloads section. Next issue is your field needs to be on a public and published CB profile tab and set to display on profile if you want to substitute it publicly.
