I need a user to sign up and be put into a certain group that they picked in their registration from there they can post information to the group and it be sent out only to users that are in the same group. I am very new to CB and would be willing to have someone develop it for me instead of me fumbling through this in the beginning.
Is this option available from Joomlapolis?

You can use GroupJive to provide the groups. Then install the Auto Integration and create an Auto field within CB > Field Management. The new field will let them select a GJ group to join at registration. You can then use the Wall integration for them to make a wall post to the group. Users can then opt into Wall Post notifications from the notifications page (click Notifications menu item when viewing a GJ Group). You can set the notification to default enabled within GJ > Config > Integrations > Wall > Notifications.
