When I click on my message members button from group jive menus I get a message not authorized How do I broadcast messages to my group members from the groupjive messages menu?
I also have published Quick Message Tab but it does not display?I think I have to get a message system which is your choice?

You need to have UddeIM installed to use any of the PMS features. As for GJ displaying that error that's an access permission error. You shouldn't see that unless you don't have access to Group Message. Check within GJ > Config > Groups > Messages to ensure messaging is enabled and access is appropriately set. Category owner and CB Moderators are exempt from this access check though.

I selected message categories from groupjive menus but when I went to groupjive menu I get see attached it has not auto selected Menu Item Type * what should it be?
I have checked the configuration and changed to group users instead or group owner but it still says Not authorized. see attached

It shouldn't be anything. It's type does not exist. The menu item is forced by GJ.

Are you testing as a normal registered user that has joined the group, the group owner, the category owner, or a CB moderator? Not everyone has access. For registered users to have access it must be set to "Group Users" and the user attempting to use it must join the group before doing so.
Do I have to install UddelM first?
No, it'll use Email or PMS by default. Will see there's no PMS and will send as Email.
