[SOLVED] Recaptcha Error was created by who_else

I'd like the Recaptcha handled by another component, so i deactivated ReCaptcha in Joomla General Settings and deactivated the CB Captcha Plugin. Now the Step 2 Tab @ registration is missing, but still showing "Step 1", although Step 2 is missing.

No i am going to register, fill in all fields and click on Register. I get this error message:

The reCAPTCHA was not correct. Please try again

Since i deactivated the Captcha in both Joomla AND CB, i am wondering what to do now. I also set all Captcha integrations to no in CB Captcha, but that didn't help either.

Any idea?

Step by Step is a feature provided by CB Conditional. It doesn't care how many steps you actually have, it just makes it step by step. You can disable it within CB Conditional > Config > Registration.

CB doesn't not support Joomlas reCaptcha, because we have our own registration process. If you want reCaptcha then install CB AntiSpam and set the captcha mode to reCaptcha as it has built in support for reCaptcha. Also note CB Captcha is depreciated and officially replaced by CB AntiSpam.
