Hello,
I am using Joomla SEF url rewriting (htaccess is enabled) and working well with all of my webpages except the community builder profile menu link. This normal system generated link link works great:
www.triad.hennensobserver.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler
.
You have a space in your Joomla menu link alias to CBs profile page. Edit your Joomla menu item and give it a valid alias such as "profile". Joomla exclusively handles SEF. Our router just translates user id to username and vise verse and Joomla doesall the other rewriting.

Thank you. As far as I can tell, I do not have any spaces in the alias for that menu item. However, when I rebuild the menu item using the "rebuild" button and refresh the system and browser cache, the profile link does work on the frontend as intended. However, after a period of time, the problem reappears. I do not know what is causing this.
You have a menu item to CBs profile page with an alias of "Update / About". My guess is either the slash or the spaces are a problem. You should avoid such characters in menu aliases. You'll need to review your menu items and see which that alias is associated with. If you have menu items trashed ensure you delete them as they'll still exist otherwise.
