Good day

How do I fix it so that the checkbox and the text is alongside each other in the registration form instead of below?

Please see image attached.

Thanks

It already should be. Looks like you have CSS changing either the checkboxes or label elements to block display. Right click the label in Chrome or Firefox with Firebug and inspect it to see what CSS is causing it. If having trouble finding the conflicting CSS you'll need to provide a URL to your registration form so I can take a look.

The CSS causing your issue is as follows.

IN: /templates/j51_kindle/css/bootstrap.css
ON: Line 741
Code:
label { display: block; margin-bottom: 5px; }

The above is causing label elements to be block display. This causes them to show on their own line.

Thank you so much for all your assistance.

One last question about the CSS for this site (I'm just the administrator and although I can handle basic CCS, this template combined with Community Builder and GroupJive is beyond my abilities)

How do I make the two buttons (group leave and group join) consistent. For example, for the Join I'd like it to be a blue button with white text and for Leave it needs to be a white button with blue text.

Also the white text on white button doesn't work.

So in which file do I change the colour of the text and possibly the size of the buttons where necessary so that it's consistent across the site?

Thanks

Right click the button in Chrome or Firefox with Firebug and click Inspect Element. Then review the CSS as shown in the developer console that should show up. Your template is changing the buttons text color to white, which it normally is not. I'm sorry, but I can not keep fixing your design issues; that is not what we do here. Your problem is with your template and you need to contact the developer of your template for best approach or explore the CSS as instructed and change it your self.
