How to disable "Message" when requesting CB Connection? was created by
We would like to suppress the custom "Message" textarea when a user requests a connection via CB Connect as Messaging will be a Pro Feature exclusively. How is that possible?

Only way to disable it is to set "Notification Method" to "None" within CB > Configuration > Connections.

That disables it. You need to set it to "None" and it'll just send a straight connection request with no message.

A pity this is also disabling the notification of the new connection request via PMS & Email.

Just wanted to disable the message that users type in manually in the textarea field.

Think we can live with that for now...

You could use CB Auto Actions and one of the connection triggers to send an email to the user. This would replace the built in notification so you still get the notification without having the message box.
