I have reached a roadblock trying to control the visibility of the Subscriptions tab on a user's profile.

As well as a couple of public tabs, I have three confidential profile tabs (one of which is the Subscriptions tab) that only the profile owner and admin users should be able to see. I have been able to achieve this visibility and editability for Super Users/the Membership Administrator.

I am now trying to create a lesser admin user group with the ability to see all this info but not to edit it. I can achieve this visibility for the other two confidential tabs but not the Subscriptions tab. Is there something particular about this tab that precludes read-only visibility?

J2.5.14 CB1.9 CBS3.0

Happy to send access credentials if desired.

You can't control Subscription tab visibility. Doing so will result in your users unable to subscribe. If you don't want it visible on profile then you can disable it's display in CBSubs > Settings > Display > Plans and adjust "Show on CB User Profile:" as needed, but don't change its display using any other means.

To control admin edit access to the tab simply adjust your permissions within CBSubs > Settings > Permissions. This way you can have specific admin usergroups have frontend edit access while disallowing others.

Thanks Kyle.

Still working through this. Can you confirm or otherwise my current conclusion that it is not possible to give a group access to the Subscriptions tab on the user profiles via the front end (say via a User List) without them also having login access to the backend?

I tried to achieve this via trial and error, and whenever I turned off admin login permissions the profile Subscriptions tab disappeared in the front end.

You can't use access protections on the Subscription tab. If you need subscriptions limited to a specific usergroup then add those access requirements to your plans on their Access tab.
