Got a problem with a client. He wanted to register with his Mac and Safari, and when he entered emailadress, which is being checked against availability, and the spoofing session check is deactivated.

I deactivated piwik and found out, that the error comes, when i enable Ajax Check for Email and for user name. After deactivating both the registrationpage would let him continue, but after he hit the Register button he got this message again.

I also deactivated some cb plugins, which wouldn't work out. So i activated Joomla Debug Console and maximum reporting. Didn't yield any result. The client is working on a Macintosh with Mac OS X 10.6.8, with Safari and Firefox, latest version, for testing he has set the cookie pref to "accept all cookies".

No .htaccess either, SEO optimized Links are disabled

Have read various posts, tried almost anything, but no luck, up to now.

don't have any idea, how to figure it out.

Any help is truly appreciated.

Does he have cookies enabled in his browser? Has he tried a different computer? Different browser? Are you able to duplicate his issue? If not chances are it's something with this browser or computer it self.

Digged deeper and found out, that the client computer ran Mac OSX and had rigid settings in Internet Cleanup; so there wasn't any chance to get him to register...
Paranoid user...
Thanks!. Cookies had been enabled, different browser checked, and i wasn't able to duplicate.
