The description is the language string _UE_VALID_PASS, which does not change its information based off the minimum length parameter (which is working). You can edit your password field and add a new custom description or adjust the _UE_VALID_PASS language string as needed.

Sorry, I dont get this. I already put in "8" into the field "Minimum length:". But the validation on the form says that the user needs to put in a password of "0" chars. So what exactly do I need to configure that the validation pics up the "8"?
Where are you seeing this validation error? When mousing over the icon next to the field? It's impossible to validate a minimum of 0 characters so if it was validating with that it would never error.
I believe your seeing the info icon description, which has no relation to the actual fields settings (it's a language string). Try registering with 7 characters and it should error then try registering with 9 characters and it should work fine. If this is the case your validation is working fine and you just need to adjust your language string (which is _UE_VALID_PASS) or edit the description of the field to add a new description.

That looks like 6 characters, but you have it set to 8. What happens when you type 8? Looks like validator language string isn't replacing {0} with the minimum length like it should. Please switch to English language and see if issue persists.
