I can see how an upgrade of an existing plan can optionally give pro-rata credit for any unexpired portion of the existing plan. My client would like the option of the upgrade taking effect from the next expiry date of the existing plan. Is this possible by configuration or easy hack?
Upgrades don't work like that. Only renewals can do that. You could however use a conditional on the Workflows tab to hide the plan you want to upgrade to until the current is expired. The alternative of course is to just prorate so they get that value back as a discount to the upgraded plan.
