CB User Profile - unable to upload files

CB User Profile - unable to upload files was created by fritshamann
I want to complete an user profile with a file (PDF).

In the configuration I allow this type of files to upload.

The system will not accept this. I expect that there is a file rights issue.

Where can I find the correct file(s) to change them.

Thx for your help...

You need to have the CB File Fieldtype plugin installed. It defaults to allowing PDF so it should work immediately after creating a new File field. Try uploading from Profile Edit instead of using Ajax if Ajax is enabled for it.

Thx, for your advice.

But unhappily it didn't solve my problem. I reinstalled the plugin appeared during installation.

So I need a different solution.

Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration. Then attempt to upload from profile edit. Chances are pretty high your server doesn't have high enough upload limit for you to upload your pdf, which you can change using php.ini (contact your host for instructions).
