Hello I try to create email auto action that will Send email to any user that create or join a group.
I must be doing something wrong, because it just don't work.
Join group trigger only fires if the user physically joins the group using the join button. If they are added to a group through API, through backend, etc.. it is not a join, but a create (separate trigger). It is also possible it's having a hard time finding the CB user object for that trigger. I suggest using the trigger gj_onAfterCreateUser and setting User to Manual then Variable 4. This trigger will fire for joins from anywhere (including when a group is created).

I want to send email only to users that create groups or join a group.
I activate the kunena auto category, and i want to send email yo user to inform them that they have access to a new Section in the forum.
I checked the Auto action in join group button also the create group, In both cases it doesn't work.

The trigger I provided fires in both scenarios. This reduces your 2 trigger usage to 1. Please read my previous reply carefully, you need to adjust the User parameter for your action.
