we have a lot of people now in our groups, sometimes more than 3000!
post are now very long to publish!
the user make his post and press publish. after you have the loading time and sometime its very long!
it seems to be long because of notificacions!?
so the question is : is the notification are been send during the post?
why not do like this :
- user make post
- publish the post in the front end
- after publishing the post, send the email notification ( maybe like this : 200 mail, 30 seconds of pause, 200 mail ....)
or maybe there is other reason to have long time posting?
There is no scheduling and there is no batching API. So scheduling emails to be sent in batches is not possible right now (both APIs planned for a future CB release). I suggest turning off notifications or at least have them all set to not notify by default if they're performing slowly. You're basically trying to send 3,000 Emails or Private Messages all at ounce.
