[SOLVED] How do I Delete Field Values

I have several CB field types with multiple values (Multiple Check Box, Drop Down, Radio Buttons, etc.). How do I delete a value such as a radio button option?

I have done this via identifying and deleting the _comprofiler_field_values record after first checking there were no affected comprofiler records. Was there a better way?

Edit your field in CB > Field Management. Empty the value you want to delete then save your field and it'll delete them. It can't delete the first value though as 1 value has to always exist.

Thanks - of course the one I needed to delete was the first option value. I guess I could have changed the display order so it was no longer the first.

Move the first option, save the field, then empty it, save the field. That should allow you to delete it. Next release will have this fixed (where simply moving it then deleting will work, no extra saves).

I had a similar problem via a migration from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 3.2.3. Four radio fields added two extra "Yes"/"No" options, giving 4 options. I tried to re-order as you suggested and delete BOTH of them. CB would not allow that. However, when I just tried to delete one at a time, CB did allow that. Thanks for the solution...Tim
