I found out, that you cannot sort the CB Field list. I would have liked to sort for Fieldtype, to identify all text fields, to switch them to textarea, which wouldn't do.
My feature request is to make the list headers in Fields, Tabs etc. clickable, so that lists will be sorted ascending or descending after that column. Would help a lot.
Sorting features are planned after backend is completely rewritten in CB 2.0.
