How do I stop banned users from appearing in the random user module?

I thought it would exclude any banned users automatically but it doesn't.

I realize I can manually exclude banned users by adding their ID to the Random Users' Basic options Exclude Users field but why can't I select a Status option under the Advanced Options conditions? I don't even see Status as a field to even evaluate/ compare.

I thought maybe I could create a delimiter field for status but can't find the field name.

am I stuck with manual exclusion each time I ban a user, then un-exclude once they're unbanned? drag.

Thanks.

We don't have a random user module so I've no idea what module you're referring to. Banning a user just bans their profile. It does not block their Joomla account. Typically anything that queries for and displays users should check that block = 0 and in those cases just block the entire users login within CB > User Management. For modules that don't check this you'll need to fix it so it does.
