It depends on what's posted, but yes for the most part. CB Privacy only affects profile related activity. What happens if a member changes from public to private? Do all the activity posts from that member get pulled from the feed?
GJ access is not governed by CB Privacy so it'll do nothing. CB Privacy for CB Activity only works for Profile related activity (field updates, etc..).How does it work if a member who set his profile to private but has joined a group on groupjive? If the group is public, will all his posts, etc appear in the activity feed if the Activity configuration is set to publish group activity?

For now, yes. Next CB Activity release will be respecting profile privacy though. It will also respect tab privacy for integration tabs in next release. For example if my profile is public, but I set the Groups tab to private then no one will see my GJ activity. This will be a good way to control integration activity on an individual basis. So its important that users are aware that even if their profile setting are set to private any of their activities in groups is visible to all.
Activity is not based off a Group. It's based off a User. So if a user is not doing anything that logs activity then no activity will log.Does that also mean for people who are not in the groups - In other words is the activity in a group posted on the feed or will only show up if you are in that group?
Group access is respected. If a user can't access the group then they won't see activity from that group. Also, if the group is set to a particular user group (ie. ACL) will those activities be in the feed?
