I am trying to find the answers to these two questions:
  1. How do I reproduce the way mod_cblogin is used on Joomlapolis?
  2. I currently have one instance of mod_cblogin displayed on the main menu. How can I change the title text once logged in?
TIA
Andrew

Title text? The "Hi, NAME" usage? That's the greeting feature, which you can enable within your CB Login module. You can change it within your CB language files as is a language string. The menu to the right of the login module is actually just a normal Joomla menu positioned next to CB. I believe the module was also modified to display with the avatar floated to the left, but that could actually be done with pure CSS.

Thanks Kyle for the clarification.

For my second question I am referring to the text in the Title field for the mod_cblogin instance that I have positioned in the template's menu position.

What I would like to do is change this text once a user is logged in i.e. before logging it the menu displays "Login" and once logged in it changes to "My account" (or something similar). I am sure it is possible but am not sure how to do it.

The Joomla module title as far as I am aware can't be dynamic. You'd need to use 2 different modules for that. 1 which is only accessible to guests and 1 which is only accessible to registered users.
