Sounds like they exist in CB, but do not exist in Joomla. Not sure how that happened, but within CB > Tools you can run user synchronization and it'll remove invalid users.It looks like I have a user showing up as connected in CB Connect, but the user id nor user does not exist - Any way to get rid of this data as the user cannot login using facebook.
Yes, edit the user and empty their social site ID fields (e.g. set Facebook ID to blank).Also, is it possible to delete the "connection" in the backend for existing users?
Email address is irrelevant to matching a users account up. It strictly uses the social site ID fields. For example once they login with Facebook their Facebook ID field will container their Facebook ID, which will be matched against when attempting to use Facebook login again. They're free to change their profile data as they please without issues.What happens to users who update their email address in the user profile that had used facebook to login previously. Will the CB connection still work since the email address associated with their facebook account would not match anymore?
