I've created a list of users and added this page on my main menu as an external link. The only problem is the URL for the page is really long and I want to change it to an alias. I'm not able to do this anywhere.
External Links don't SEF very well when using Joomla SEF. You'll probably need an extension like sh404sef to SEF them properly. With Joomla 3.2 (next major release) and CB 1.10.0 (next release) you'll be able to create internal links for specific userlists again.
