I turn on the Search Engine Friendly URLs and forgot password form URL is as below: http://IP/index.php/component/comprofiler/lostpassword.

When I submit the form, whatever error or success, forgot password form or success message is shown at the bottom of the HOME page.

This problem happens because of the '?Itemid=101' in URL, I think.
http://IP/index.php/component/comprofiler/lostpassword?Itemid=101
http://IP/index.php/component/comprofiler/done?Itemid=101

1. Would you mind telling me how should I solve it?
2. Why does CB send the new password rather than the reset link?

Thank you in advance.

Looks like you're missing a public and published Joomla menu link to CBs profile page. This link is mandatory. If this link exists as it should your URLs should be structured as follows.

example.com/menu-alias/lostpassword

Login module will use the registration menu item id over the profile item id if present. Try and find what menu item is associated with item id 101. Are you using only Joomla SEF or are you using a 3rd party SEF extension as well?

I used Joomla SEF and turned off it now. But it doesn't work too.

101 is the home page menu id. After submitting the form, it didn't take the id from URL and appended 101 by default.

After submitting it's supposed to append the home Itemid as it's sending to an empty "done" page. So this is working as intended. I'll probably be changing this in CB 1.10.0 so it properly appends CB Itemid though as I'm doing a lot of HTML fixes.
