CB Bootstrap doesn't control the size of inputs. The size parameter of your fields does within CB > Field Management. It's possible your Joomla template however could be styling inputs size (right click and inspect in Chrome or Firebug for Firefox to review an inputs CSS).

Setting the field size did the trick. Thanks.
Edit: It would be great to have some kind of bulk functionality to modify a bunch of fields in exactly the same way. (Yeah I did it via MySql query but it would be nice anyway.)

We'll be adding batch features once we redo the backend either with CB 2.0 or after it.

Are you using captcha from CB Captcha or CB AntiSpam? If CB AntiSpam you should see the size parameter same place as for text fields. If CB Captcha believe you need to edit the CB Captcha plugin in CB > Plugin Management (or perhaps its tab in CB > Tab Management). Note if using CB Captcha it's officially replaced by CB AntiSpam so may want to upgrade.
