You don't need to touch PHP settings. Just go to Joomla global configuration and on the Server tab set Error Reporting to None or probably Default will work ok too.

Kyle,

Thanks a bunch for the info. That's why I asked, it's kinda like in school when you get the right answer but do it the wrong way. So at least I'm straight on that now.

Also, while I'm at it, I wanted to take a minute and congratulate you (or whoever's doing your documentation) for the fine installation tutorials you've put together. They're complete, concise, straight forward (plain English), and they even explain why you're doing what you're doing, as opposed to just merely performing the steps involved.

Now I know this may sound mundane, and you're tired of hearing it, but believe it or not there are a whole lot of so-called professional Web Developers (big names, but won't call any right now) that don't provide anything remotely close to this in their so called documentation (well they try). You guys have even got a webinar to boot (which I haven't needed but may just check it out for further review). The information is organized, easy to find and you don't have to spend all day to figure out how to do a simple procedure.

So that's grounds for congrats in my book.

Now, I'm sure there'll be plenty I'll be complaining about in the future, but for now, the installation supported is excellent!

Magic
BTW: I'm using 1.9 doc for both 1.9 and 2.0, so far works great.

Wow - as the CB Team member that is trying to produce the best possible documentation I really appreciate your comments - better than a great JED review ;-)
